Important: CouponFor does NOT collect any usage statistics, analytics, or tracking data. We do not know how you use the extension or which features you interact with.

  • Anonymized Usage Data: Page visits, time on site (for statistics)

scripting

Used to inject the coupon notification interface on merchant websites so you can see available codes.

activeTab

Used to read the current website's hostname (e.g., "store.com") to check for coupons. Does NOT access page content or personal data.

storage

Used to store your preferences locally on your device, specifically which websites you've chosen to permanently hide coupon notifications on. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

host_permissions (all websites)

Required to run on any website to detect when you visit a merchant with available coupons. Only the hostname is read – no other page content is accessed.
